How to Install a Waterfall
If you have a strategically placed pond which is close to a hill, you may easily install a waterfall to add that extra aesthetic value to your landscape which goes a long way. If you already have a submersible pump installed, then adding a waterfall is just that much easier.
- Dig out individual basins, depending on how many levels you want for your waterfall. Dig out connecting passages for your waterfall so that the water has somewhere to go. You will also need to dig out a connecting passage for your pond.
- Cover the basins with flexible liner and go through the same steps that you used to install your pond
- Use rocks or plants to cover up the liner.
- Install the pump at the top of your waterfall by having the output tube go underground and up the incline/hill.
